General Rules:

- Respect classmates and teacher.
- Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
- No cell phone usage in class. Phone will be taken and turned into administration.

- Technology
- Laptops will be used daily in class. Any misuse of technology will result in the following consequences:
- 1st time – Call home
- 2nd time – Lose privilege for a week (paper copies only)
- 3rd time – Referral
- Laptops will be used daily in class. Any misuse of technology will result in the following consequences:
- Absences/Tardiness
- Student is responsible to make up any work missed. Anything not made up becomes a zero in gradebook.
- Restrooms
- Student should go to the restroom between classes not during class.
- If it is an emergency, student will have 2 restroom passes every nine weeks.
- If you choose to not use your passes, you will receive 5 bonus points each.
Grading Policies:
- Grades are based on the accumulation of points.
- Points are based on:
- Classwork 60%
- Homework 10%
- Tests and Quizzes 30%
- Daily participation points
- 5 points per day, 25 points per week for actively participating in class
- Head down or off task, lose up to 5 points
- Borrow a pencil from teacher, lose 1 point
- Suspension or sent out of class, lose 5 points
- 5 points per day, 25 points per week for actively participating in class
Grading Scale:
A 93-100%
B 85-92%
C 75-84%
D 67-74%
F 66% or Below
