Congratulations to our CMM Ballers - Stallion Baseball is going into week three of the six-week series UNDEFEATED. They will take on two more teams this Saturday to keep their title. The CMM 7th Grade Baseball Team is aiming to be in the championship game on Feb. 24th. GO Stallions!

Congratulations Miles Mainiero! Miles is CMM's School Spelling Bee Champion. Our runner-up is Aiden Zhao. Both will move on to compete in the Regional Competition March 2nd at LSUS. We would also like to give a shout out to Scott Chen for coming in 3rd place. It was a wonderful afternoon of academic competition. Go Stallions!



Attention 6th and 7th grade students! Are you a leader? Do you love CMM and want to help make it a better place? If so, you should consider running for Student Council. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Thursday, February 1 at 5:15 PM in the library. You and your parents will need to attend this meeting to run for next year's Student Council. Please see Miss H. Chaisson or Mrs. Waddell for any questions.


The Stallion Tennis Team will have tryouts on Monday, 2/5 and Tuesday, 2/6 from 3:45-5:15. Please stop by Coach Durst's classroom, A104, to pick up an information packet. The team will be announced on 2/7. There will be a parent meeting for the team will be on 2/8 at 5:30 pm, in the library.


It’s a Hearty Party! All CMM 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are invited to the Valentine's Day formal dance on Wednesday, February 14 from 3:30-5. Tickets are on sale at Local Level Events. You are asked to wear or change before the event at the end of the day into your formal attire (dresses, slacks, and a button-up). You MUST be in the dress code.


Get ready for an exciting opportunity to fuel your creativity and imagination! We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO classes at Caddo Middle Magnet School, exclusively designed for 6th-8th grade students. The class will run on Wednesdays after school from January 31 until May 1. A registration link is in last week's Stallion Scoop email, or you can go to www.Bricks4Kids.com/sb to register.

We have a big shout out to our CMM Student Council. Over MLK weekend a select group of the members in student council competed at the LASC State Convention. These students competed against other Louisiana middle schools all over the state. They won the following honors:
• Double Gold Star Student Council
• Lilly Calhoun won 2nd in the Essay Contest
• Giana Gipson won 2nd in the Oratory Contest
•Piper Ardoin won 1st in the Photography contest
•Lilly Calhoun and Addie Smith ran for and received District 9 Host for next year.



Track tryout packets are due by Friday the 26th. Tryouts have been moved to Monday, January 29th through Friday, February 2nd weather permitting.


Spelling Bee is still on for Tuesday, 1/23 @ 3:45pm in CMM’s PAC! Participants, don’t forget to study this weekend. Also, remember you must have a ride home from this event. We are searching for the brightest, best, and most talented students for "Star Search" the CMM Talent Show. If you have a special talent of any kind that you want to show off in front of your peers and potentially win a special prize please sign up audition for the Talent Show.

Congratulations to the CMM winners of the CPSB Poster contests! All of these students will go on to compete at the parish level. See their work on display this week in the hall next to B112.


The Home Living Babysitting Club attended their first concerts today. All the musical groups were fantastic and no babies misbehaved.
