📣 Congratulations to our students, faculty, and staff for our excellent school performance score of 100, maintaining our A+ status! 🏆 We are so proud to be named the #6 school in Caddo Parish and in the top 10 in all of Caddo and Bossier parish schools! We were also named a Top Gains Honoree, an Opportunity Honoree, and had a 6.5 point increase in SPS making us a Caddo Gains Honoree as well! Why should you choose Herndon Magnet? Because our faculty, staff, and administration strive to give our students the best education possible, making them well-equipped for their future success! We are so proud of our Hawk family! 💙💛🖤
What do these accolades mean?
💙 Louisiana Dept. of Education Top Gains: Excellence in student progress from one year to the next.
💛 Caddo Parish Top Gains: Increasing overall school performance score from one year to the next.
🖤 Opportunity Honoree: Given to schools (only 7 this year!) in the highest tier of progress for special education, English language learners, and high-poverty students.

Grandparent's Day 2023
💙💛🖤
Completing this form will reserve a table for each group of grandparents and grandchildren in K-5 that will participate in our grandparent's day activities. Please complete the form only ONE time and make only ONE reservation per family. Students can only attend one session, so all grandparents will attend at the same time.
⏰📢
This form will close at 8 AM, Saturday, November 3. Absolutely no late reservations will be accepted. We must have a list of everyone who will attend for security and planning purposes. Please do not call the week of November 6 asking to be added to the list of attendees as we will not be able to accommodate your request.
