Mrs. Smith's 3rd grade Math and Science students have been busy with two engaging activities. They tackled a math scavenger hunt, solving problems and puzzles hidden around their classroom. 💙🖤💛 They also built rain gauges using plastic bottles, rulers, and markers to measure and record rainfall, combining hands-on science with practical measurement skills. 🌧️☂️☔

We held our annual Senior Walk this morning, and we couldn't be more proud of this year's graduating class. Unfortunately, this 8th grade class had their academic year cut short due to the Covid pandemic. They missed out on experiencing many of the things that make Herndon special during their final year. However, it was heartwarming to see them return to campus today for their final walk.
